Blair, I don't know what knowledge or experience you have with Level II data, so this might be remedial. I'm not as familiar with the Level III data, but the Level II data doesn't come in all at the same time. It never has since I worked on the CRAFT project many years ago. The data comes in as 100 radial packets, actually 100, 100, 100, 60(+) as the sweeps progress through the volume scan. You mention in your first emails that you got an a large portion of a scan at 2:22:31, and did not get the rest until 2:32:09. Essentially the last portion of the file did not arrive until 10 minutes late. It would be nice to know what the file name was, and get and/or get an ldmadmin watch portion from the flow of these files. Because the radar volume scans are identified by the beginning time of the volume. I would not expect them to be completed until 10 minutes after they start for the clear VCPs. I would be surprised however, if you received the majority of the volume all at a single time. I receive my data from IRADS, and I have never seen a problem such as you describe. I just ran notifyme and watched the KTLX volume for 20140519022620 come in. There were a total of 34 packets that started arriving at 02:26:21 -- the packets arrived approximately 20-30 seconds apart, and the final packet with the "E" marking the end of the transmission arrived at 02;35:58, 31 seconds after the penultimate packet. I'm not seeing the delay you are talking about, but I am wondering if you understand that the file is not going to be complete until ~10 minutes after it started arriving -- at least for clear air.
