Re: [ldm-users] configuration file question

Brendon,

We use this line in our nrpe.cfg

command[check_ldm_running]=/usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_procr -p rpc.ldmd

If you want to check for pqact or other processes in the same check, just add it to the comma delimited process list.

command[check_ldm_running]=/usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_procr -p rpc.ldmd,pqact

We monitor our servers using Nagios/check_mk, it's configured to email/text anytime CPU load gets too high, disks approach full, etc. I've been meaning to implement a Nagios routine for ldm, checking for whether data is flowing, daemon running, etc. Anyone in the community have anything like this so I don't have to reinvent the wheel?

Thanks,
Brendon
