John,
We've been converting some geospatial data to HDF-EOS 5, which uses HDF5,
and generic HDF5. They're converted from DOQ, DEM and ESRI
Shapefiles. They're at ftp://hdf.ncsa.uiuc.edu/pub/outgoing/vchoi
The files are:
DOQ: 1 black/white DOQ in HDF-EOS grid format
DEM: 2 digital elevation model in HDF-EOS grid format
shapefile: 2 ESRI shapefiles in HDF format

I need test hdf5 files for my java library. (ive already looked at the
sample ones on the HDF5 site).
If anyone has examples of important real-world datasets written in HDF5,
can you send me a pointer to them? Or just a URL i can find them at ?
thanks!
