At the moment, theres no API to write GeoGrids, you have to create them 
yourself. We recommend using the CF Conventions to do so, see:

Hello,

I want to create NetCDF file which must contain GeoGrid data type. I'm
using current stable version 2.2.10. What I need to use to create such
NetCDF file? Could you give me some example source Java code?
