Hi Thomas:

Im guessing you are trying to open the opendap dataset with a URL of:

  
http://www.ifremer.fr/thredds/dodsC/mwf/ers1/monthly?quality_flag[10:1:10][0][10:1:10][10:1:10]
 ?

Unfortunately, you cannot use a constraint expression in the dataset URL. So 
you have to open 

   http://www.ifremer.fr/thredds/dodsC/mwf/ers1/monthly

and then issue data requests to that.
