Hi Zitian, Looks like a problem with your classpath (nothing to do with netcdf-java I think). You need to make sure that both the NetCDF library *and* your current directory are in your classpath. Maybe something like: java –classpath /usr/share/netcdfUI-2.2.22.jar;. test which should work if test.java is in the current working directory and the default package.
