The NODC has provided "profile" type files in the following URLs:

http://data.nodc.noaa.gov/argo/data/ocean/YYYY/MM/filename.nc
http://data.nodc.noaa.gov/gtspp/ocean/YYYY/MM/filename.nc

ftp://ftp.nodc.noaa.gov/pub/data.nodc/argo/data/ocean/YYYY/MM/filename.nc
ftp://ftp.nodc.noaa.gov/pub/data.nodc/gtspp/ocean/YYYY/MM/filename.nc

where ocean=atlantic, indian, and pacific
YYYY = 4-digit year, for example, 2009
MM = 2-digit month for example 10 for October etc

For example,

http://data.nodc.noaa.gov/argo/data/atlantic/2009/10/nodc_D1900415_184.nc
