You must write:

  run("Load NetCDF File", "open=[" + path1 + "]");

Or (I think):

  run("Load NetCDF File", "open=[&path1]");

Personally I use the former syntax. Otherwise, you are telling the plugin
to literally open a file called "path1" which is not what you want.
