netCDF: recent versions

Hi all:

About a year ago, we got netCDF and have _finally_ started to implement it on a
VaxStation 3100 running VMS5.5.  The version we have is 1.09 (Oct 1990).  Is
this anywhere near recent?  If not, where can I get the more recent version.
