        May I make an alternate suggestion:  As it is probable that most
netCDF-ers have access to the Internet, why not create a Newsgroup?  It is
easy to use, accessible from UNIX, VMS, MAC, MS-Dos, yet not as 'immediate'
as e-mail.  Any interest?
