But I like the Khoros method where there is a CHOICE - there is a newsgroup with the advantages of wider circulation of the issues, and there is a mailing list also, for those addicted to spoonfeeding. I don't see why this dual system shouldn't work with netCDF too. Someone want to set up the newsgroup vote? Should we be part of comp.databases hierarchy ( comp.databases.netCDF or comp.databases.selfdescfiles ?) , part of sci hierarchy ( sci.data.fileformats ?) or start a new branch of comp (comp.files.selfdesc) ?
