Tests fail on Nextstep

netcdf-232pl2 compiled fine on my Nextstep/Intel (Pentium),
with OS=nextos in CUSTOMIZE, passes some tests, but fails the binary tests.
Some things work, but others don't.  Any ideas?
Here's an example of the xdr test, similar things happen
in the other subdirectories:
