Try the lats4d script:

   http://dao.gsfc.nasa.gov/software/grads/lats4d/

This will require that you install GrADS in your system if you don't
have it.

If your netcdf file satisfy the COARDS conventions you can do this
from the command line. If it doesn't, you will need to work a little
harder; see thr URL above for details.
