Re: using NCO commands to create climatologies

Hi Cathy,

just fyi (cuz you likely already know this):

Ferret can create such climatologies and save them in netCDF in just a couple
of commands without intermediate files.  It will not necessarily, however,
preserve all of your original attributes intact.  If this is a problem it can
be resolved by pre-creating the output netCDF file with the desired attributes
and then using "/APPEND" when saving the data into the file.
