All-Thanks for the help. Defining pgiFORTRAN helped get through the compile. Also adding
use typeSizes along with use netcdfhelped alot too! Is this new? The code I am compiling (GENLN3) does not have "use typeSizes" and has compiled on other machines perhaps with only netcdf v3.0 though.
Thanks, -JIm H. On Wednesday, July 16, 2003, at 10:48 AM, Russ Rew wrote:
Hi Jim,I am attempting to compile netcdf 3.5.0 on a linux machine using gcc and Lahey FORTRAN lf95. I got into trouble with the cfortran.h file which does not recognize this compiler. What should I do about this? I suppose different code is invoked depending on the compiler and ??Instructions on how to build netCDF 3.5 on a Linux system using the Lahey lf95 Fortran compiler, complements of Dirk Slawinski (who also credits Roelof Versteeg), can be found athttp://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/netcdf/other-builds.html#lahey- linux--Russ _____________________________________________________________________ Russ Rew UCAR Unidata Program russ@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://my.unidata.ucar.edu
