Hi,

for larger scale installations of any software, we use debian/ubuntupackages. Packages for netcdf-3.6.2 are available for most distributionsbut I couldn't find any for netcdf4 with hdf5/zlib support. Does anyoneknow if such packages are available?

The names of the netcdf-package on ubuntu look strange, too. Can anyonethink of a good reason why they are named libnetcdf4-3.6.2 ?
