There is a significant error in the opendap code (H/T Jeff Whitaker)
for netcdf-4.1.2-beta2. Please discontinue using
this beta for opendap access until I can fix the problem.

p.s. the bug causes calls to nc_get_vara to sometimes start
at index zero even if the start index is greater than zero.
