Actually, the problem is with the
test.opendap.org:8080 server; it is down for
now. I suggest you configure with
--disable-dap-remote-tests for now and
try again later.

FAIL: test_vara
Maybe if there were an offline version of the files and means for the check play only offline tests, this could be better. Also, ou ‘cute’ NOC puts the supercomputing environment without internet access so such checks can never be done if we do a personal install on these systems. Best regards,
