[netcdfgroup] netcdf 4.2 MPI and fortran/C++ libraries

I have a question about using the separate netcdf 4.2 Fortran/C++ libraries with MPI. Do you need to have separate versions of the Fortran/C++ libraries compiled with the MPI compiler, or is simply linking with the MPI version of netcdf at runtime sufficient? I'm not seeing anything in the Fortran/C++ libraries themselves that seem to use MPI, so I'm suspecting the latter might work.
