Hello, I have asked this question before with no response. I'm installing netcdf4-parallel (version 4.1.3) following the guidelines in the INSTALL file of NETCDF-4.1.3. The HDF5 parallel lib is successfully installed before. During the testing process of "make check install" when installing netcdf-4.1.3, an error occured: ifort: command line warning #10006: ignoring unknown option '-fwhole-archive' ifort: command line warning #10006: ignoring unknown option '-fno-whole-archive' ifort: command line warning #10156: ignoring option '-r'; no argument required ifort: command line warning #10156: ignoring option '-r'; no argument required ifort: command line warning #10156: ignoring option '-r'; no argument required ifort: error #10236: File not found: '/vol-th/home/LASG6/softwares/intel/netcdf-4.1.3-para/lib' ifort: command line warning #10156: ignoring option '-r'; no argument required ifort: command line warning #10156: ignoring option '-s'; no argument required ifort: error #10236: File not found: 'libnetcdff.so.5' This is weird because '/vol-th/home/LASG6/softwares/intel/netcdf-4.1.3-para is my install directory and at that very moment, the sub-directories (bin include lib) should not be created. attached is my config.log and full output of make check install plz help!
