[netcdfgroup] netcdf fortran

Hi All:

I was using netcdf fortran 4.4-beta1 on Ubuntu, but an update in Ubuntu appears 
to have broken things.  The error I get is:

I get a a folder that doesn't seem to use the usual  configure/make sequence  
so now I am not quite certain what sequence to use to configure and make this.  
Any help great appreciated.
