Hi All: I was using netcdf fortran 4.4-beta1 on Ubuntu, but an update in Ubuntu appears to have broken things. The error I get is: > Integer, Parameter :: C_PTRDIFF_T = C_SIZE_T > 1 > module_netcdf_nc_data.F90:30.5: > > USE ISO_C_BINDING ! All subsequent USE associations of netcdf_nc_data > 2 > Error: Symbol 'c_ptrdiff_t' at (1) conflicts with symbol from module > '__iso_c_binding', use-associated at (2) > An internet search turns up this email: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/support/help/MailArchives/netcdf/msg12031.html which relates back to previous messages with that error. It refers me to the Github site http://github.com/Unidata/netcdf-fortran I get a a folder that doesn't seem to use the usual configure/make sequence so now I am not quite certain what sequence to use to configure and make this. Any help great appreciated. -Roy ********************** "The contents of this message do not reflect any position of the U.S. Government or NOAA." ********************** Roy Mendelssohn Supervisory Operations Research Analyst NOAA/NMFS Environmental Research Division Southwest Fisheries Science Center 1352 Lighthouse Avenue Pacific Grove, CA 93950-2097 e-mail: Roy.Mendelssohn@xxxxxxxx (Note new e-mail address) voice: (831)-648-9029 fax: (831)-648-8440 www: http://www.pfeg.noaa.gov/ "Old age and treachery will overcome youth and skill."
