For National Weather Service operations: The backup date for this maneuver is Thursday, August 26, 2004. If the NWS regions have any operational concerns, please contact the NCEP SDM (301-763-8298) at least 6.5 hours prior to the maneuver time. ~ On Tuesday August 24, the following exclusive schedule will be employed to support maneuver operations: (*PLEASE NOTE the scheduled GOES-10 Full Disk scan period to support the primary GOES-12 outage during the maneuver.*) ~ GOES-12 Maneuver Schedule starts at 1004 UTC on August 24, 2004. ~ GOES-12 Southern Hemisphere scan at 1009 UTC is canceled. ~
