Topic: GOES-12 Satellite Data Outage Message Issued: October 31, 2005 UTC 1635 Satellites Impacted: GOES-12 Products Impacted: images, products, etc... Date/Time of Initial Impact: October 31, 2005 1545Z ------------------------------- Details:SOCC reported that there was a problem with the GOES-12 imagery that was due to a lost of the wideband to the Satellite. The images that were lost were from 1515Z to 1614Z, 1515Z and 1545Z N HEM the 1532Z and the 1602Z CONUS and the 1539Z S HEM. Also the 1520Z and the 1546Z Sounders. The corrective action was that SOCC reset the transmitter on the Satellite.
