Below is the list of WSR-88D sites scheduled for the Open RDA retrofit next week. The radars will likely be down from Monday (5/22) through Friday (5/26), except as noted.
Lincoln, Illinois... Green Bay, Wisconsin... Detroit, Michigan....... Brookhaven, New York.. Kunsan AB, Korea......... Channel 1 of the Reno NWS site is scheduled for ORDA installation this week. This is a continuation of the INCO that began on Channel 2 on 15 May. At this time, all conditions support starting Channel 1 as scheduled. Channel 1 of the San Juan FAA site is scheduled for ORDA installation this week. This is a continuation of the INCO that began on Channel 2 on 15 May. At this time, all conditions support starting Channel 1 as scheduled. Channel 2 ORDA INCO at the Kamuela/Kohala, Hawaii FAA site remains on hold.
