Details:

NESDIS ESPC and the Office of Satellite Operations, Wallops CDA will be performing a test of the Wallops Backup GOES Ingest NOAAPORT Interface (GINI) system on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 from 16:00 UTC to 18:00 UTC. NOAAPORT and AWIPS customers should not see an interruption of GOES imagery. However during this test, several products will not be disseminated during this time frame. These products include:

TICF01 - 5 Satellite Composite-MET-5 & 7, GOES-E & W, GMS -- 24Km Vis
TICF02 - 5 Satellite Composite-MET-5 & 7, GOES-E & W, GMS -- 24Km IR (11)
TICF05 - 5 Satellite Composite-MET-5 & 7, GOES-E & W, GMS -- 24Km WV (6.7)

TIGN26 - Cloud Top Pressure (GOES-East & GOES-West CONUS Image Composite)
TIGN16 - Lifted Index (GOES-East & GOES-West CONUS Image Composite)
TIGN17 - Precipitable Water (GOES-East & GOES-West CONUS Image Composite)
TIGN18 - Skin Temperature (GOES-East & GOES-West CONUS Image Composite)

NOAA Polar Composite Microwave Products


This test will be postponed in the event of a Critical Weather Day.
