Operations Weekly Schedule Issued on 22/01/09 at 14:40:22 Seq Nr: 1 Planned activities for week 05/2009: RAPID SCANNING SERVICE: METEOSAT-8 None foreseen 0 DEGREE SERVICE: METEOSAT-9 None foreseen EUMETCastWe are pleased to announce the inclusion of new OSI-SAF products on EUMETCast as of 27/01/09. The Metop Global SST and the Metop Northern Atlantic and Regional Seas SST products are available twice per day in GRIB-2 format.
EUMETCast requirements:Files will appear on the channel "EUMETSAT Data Channel 3" (PID 301, multicast address 224.223.222.23:2611) The filenames start with "S-OSI_-FRA_-MTOP-GLBSST" and "S-OSI_-FRA_-MTOP-NARSST" with full details provided in the Metop/AVHRR SST Product User Manual, see http://www.osi-saf.org. All users already registered for OSI-SAF products will automatically get the new products.

RSS Service SEVIRI High Rate Meteosat-8 SEVIRI Low Rate Meteosat-8 Meteorlogical Products Meteosat-8The EUMETSAT Archive will be carrying out essential maintenance on 27/01/09 between 09:00 to 11:00 UTC. During this period orders will not be processed and catalogue updates are suspended. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank our users for their understanding.
EUMETSAT plans to perform Meteosat-7 ground segment maintenance causing an interruption of the Meteosat-7 Meteorological product generation on 29/01/09 from 08:30 UTC for 2 hours, followed by a high risk period of 4 hours.

FOREIGN SATELLITE DATA None foreseen IODC INFORMATION None foreseen FUTURE EVENTSChanges to Archive delivery media: the EUMETSAT Archive will introduce LTO-4 tapes as a delivery medium in early 2009.
