A regional Critical Weather Day (CWD) has been declared
from 1200 UTC (7 AM EST) Friday, February 5, 2010 through 1200 UTC (7
AM EST) Monday, February 8, 2010. NCEP, NWSTG, and NCF will participate
in this CWD to ensure a reliable flow of data. The regional CWD is for the eastern and southern regions and is being issued due to the impact of the winter storm across the eastern seaboard, for the space shuttle launch and the super bowl.
