The backup date for this maneuver is September 13, 2013. NWS Regions with any operational concerns, please contact the NCEP SDM (301) 683-1500 at least 6 hours prior to the maneuver time. On September 11, 2013 the following schedule will be employed to support maneuver operations for GOES-East... 0020 UTC: GOES-E East/West Maneuver Schedule begins 0024 UTC - 0038 UTC: GOES-E No Scan Operations 0039 UTC: GOES-E Routine Scan Operations Resume. ****The maneuver is being performed at the normal day transition, which normally has an image and sounding gap from 0030 to 0039 UTC. Therefore the only image & sounding impact is a shortened Northern Hemisphere starting at 0015 UTC (duration change from 14:15 to 9:44).**** There will be no GOES-15 (GOES-West) Full Disk (30 minute) Imaging due to the outage being less than 15 minutes.
