Gene, It would be good if it was updated automatically, then we wouldn't have to worry about updating the dif for the temporal field. Attached is a DIF for the metar data. There are 2 parameters added because there weren't any place for the variables, datetime, time_observation, time_nominal, visibility_in_air, visibility_in_air_direction, visibility_in_air_vertical, visibility_in_air_surface. Could you look into adding Category/topics/..., etc. I'm not rigid about the names except the Detailed_Variables.
