work has been done to read in the data and display it but the resulting image doesn't look correct. i checked the values of the data and they seem to be between 1.5 - 3. could you take a look yourself using the ToolsUI program at: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf-java/v2.2/webstart/index.html any thoughts on what the problem is? robb...
