These two queries used to yield very similar results, but now it looks like the Web form for the new CONUS 12km has a different layout.

Are these changes permanent, or are there still troubles with the CONUS 12k Dataset? I have scripts that take a list of pressure levels, wind speed, and wind direction for a vertical slice at a single coordinate and interpolate the values to create input data for a model program that we run on a daily basis. Those work great for the Alaska 11 km model, but not the CONUS 12km model.

Robert,

the problem is there are 2 different NAM CONUS_12km models, one comes in on the noaaport feed and the other on the conduit feed. Usually the conduit model is a superset of the noaaport model, but this is not the case this time. The pressure levels are missing from the conduit model, this is the problem and I don't know why. I started storing the noaaport models yesterday, so there are only 2 days worth of files but they do have the pressure levels and I believe your query will now work. On the NAM models page, select the CONUS_12 - noaaport for your query.

Hi John,

   It looks like the Conus NAM 12Km is producing a dataset now, but it

doesn't seem quite right. The following query yields about 6 lines of data

with some 'NaN' values embedded. Are you all still experiencing technical
difficulties on your end, or do you think my query needs to be altered?

The NAM conus 12km on motherlode has indeed been having problems recently. Its still not exactly right (some new fields and levels are being sent) but we should have it sorted out by tommorrow. If you see any further problems after that, please let us know.

I am not sure if there is a problem with my request or a problem with data availability. Any thoughts you have on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
