Hi John et al,

We are working on a data network project to integrate metadata catalogs
with data access through a web interface. It appears that GCMD is widely
used for traditional static geospatial data, but less so for data in the
ocean and science community. It seems like there is no bridge between
the Thredds catalog and GCMD?

Does anyone know of on-going projects or initiatives to crawl and search
Thredds (or other) catalogs of observing and model data?
