Roy, We've been hitting the TDS 4 pretty hard, trying a bunch of different types of gridded data with the Forecast Model Run Collection aggregation. We are using features only available in TDS4, so we need it, but we also are not operational so we are okay working through the bugs. The good news is that the Unidata guys are extremely responsive, fixing bugs usually within 24 hours. I'd guess we have upgraded about 6-10 times in the last month. -Rich On Tue, May 19, 2009 at 5:18 PM, Roy Mendelssohn <Roy.Mendelssohn@xxxxxxxx> wrote:Hi All:We have TDS 4.0.9 running in-house, but have not had a lot of chance to test it. If any can answer some of these questions, I would appreciate it:1. What quality is this considered (alpha, beta, beta(x), rc)2. Has anyone done a lot of testing with the OpeNDAP service with highlytime aggregated data?3. Has anyone done a lot of testing of the WCS service with highly time aggregated data (in this past, this has at times gotten broken with new versions). Has anyone looked at Geotiff output from projected data, such asMercator and Albers?4. Has anyone done much testing with the WMS service with highly timeaggregated data?Basically, at some point we would want to switch over to TDS4, but our TDS is highly operational with a lot of data requests a day, and we need to be certain that it is reasonably stable in all the operations before we do so. And, we have been swamped so we have not been able to do much testing, butam hoping others have had time and can share what they have learned/experienced/etc. Thanks, -Roy ********************** "The contents of this message do not reflect any position of the U.S. Government or NOAA." ********************** Roy Mendelssohn Supervisory Operations Research Analyst NOAA/NMFS Environmental Research Division Southwest Fisheries Science Center 1352 Lighthouse Avenue Pacific Grove, CA 93950-2097 e-mail: Roy.Mendelssohn@xxxxxxxx (Note new e-mail address) voice: (831)-648-9029 fax: (831)-648-8440 www: http://www.pfeg.noaa.gov/ "Old age and treachery will overcome youth and skill."
