Okay it appears to have something to do with building the aggregations. On a clean start up, it went through every file and then stopped, at least for awhile. The problem is we have hundreds of thousands of files (yes this is correct two of our datasets alone are over 20.000 files), and catalina.out grows to be a very large size. I assume there must be a way to suppress writing this, but I don't know how. Up to these changes, our catlaina.out over even over a month from a "ls -l" was about 3400 or so , now in a few hours it is many (with the emphasis on many) orders of magnitude larger. -Roy On Feb 23, 2011, at 6:27 AM, Kyle Wilcox wrote: > I'm also seeing this in catalina.out > > ... > regexp .*\.nc$ on /data/ftp/upload/Shelf_Hypoxia/dal/roms/his_mch_052_0065.nc > match=true > regexp .*\.nc$ on /data/ftp/upload/Shelf_Hypoxia/dal/roms/his_mch_052_0066.nc > match=true > regexp .*\.nc$ on /data/ftp/upload/Shelf_Hypoxia/dal/roms/his_mch_052_0080.nc > match=true > ... > > > [minime@testbedapps ~]# java -version > java version "1.6.0_21" > Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_21-b06) > Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 17.0-b16, mixed mode) > > THREDDS Data Server Version 4.2.1 Build Date = 2010-12-01 20:28:24 Build > Name = 1 > > >> -----Original Message----- >> From: thredds-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thredds- >> bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of John Caron >> Sent: Tuesday, February 22, 2011 6:31 PM >> Cc: THREDDS community >> Subject: Re: [thredds] Fwd: Release Announcement: CPU11_01 Java SE >> Critical Patch Update >> >> On 2/22/2011 4:01 PM, Roy Mendelssohn wrote: >>> We did this update.
