Ethan, I'm running into the same problem with 3408 and 3409. I have a 138x139 
regional model grid in Lambert Equal Area and I was wondering if it was 
possible to get a 138x139 px image back for the exact number of rows and cols 
of the model. I'm hoping to get one pixel per model grid, so it looks similar 
to what NCVIEW displays. Is that doable? If not a lambert map would be a good 
second option.
