Hi,

I hope this is right list for my simple question for which I can't
find answer as all this meteo protocols and formats are too confusing
to me as a beginner.

I'm using Python package for retrieving netcdf data from opendap
thredds server. As data files are large and I don't want whole data
nor whole region provided, I wanted to know if some kind of query is
possible for thredds server over opendap protocol? From what I read so
far it seems to me it should be possible, by I can't find any
reference. Is there some documentation that I can learn about this?
