Re: [thredds] TDS and HTTPS

Hi Roy:

No i hadnt heard that. Looks like a privacy thing.

Can do with just a minor change in the web.xml.

However encrypting large data requests will slow things down. At one point,
the studies said 2x, but not sure if thats still true.

I dont think they have this use case in mind. Perhaps the science community
should ask to be exempted in certain circumstances.
