Greetings Ashwin, As of this past summer all NASA data holdings require authentication for data access. There is no way to “bypass” this step. However you can get access by creating a “URS” account with NASA and then configuring said account for data access. The URS site is here: https://urs.earthdata.nasa.gov Instructions for configuring your data access client (browser, curl, IDV, Panoply, etc.) can be found here: http://docs.opendap.org/index.php/DAP_Clients_-_Authentication Sincerely, Nathan > On Oct 7, 2016, at 11:36 PM, ashwinD12 . <winash12@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > Hello, > I am thrilled I can download TRMM data via OPeNDAP protocol as > shown on this link - > http://disc2.nascom.nasa.gov/opendap/TRMM_L3/TRMM_3B42/2016/213/3B42.20160731.03.7.HDF.html. > The problem with using it is that it is asking for a username/password.
