Users of NEXRAD Level III products from Unidata: This is a reminder of the upcoming removal of a number of NEXRAD Level III products from the NOAAPort SBN and the IDD. (Recall that all NEXRAD Level III products relayed in the IDD come from NOAAPort.) NOAA Service Change Notice (SCN) 96 listed a number of NEXRAD Level III products that were to be removed from NOAAPort around the end of February, 2022. Instead of these products actually being removed, the TTAAII portion of their WMO IDs (which are included in the LDM/IDD Product IDs) were changed to SDUS6i, and they continued to be distributed in NOAAPort and in the IDD NEXRAD3 feed. NOAA Service Change Notice 22-36, dated April 7, 2022: https://www.weather.gov/media/notification/pdf2/scn22-36_remove_noaaport_sdus6_radar_products.pdf announced that the SDUS6i products previously slated for removal from the NOAAPort SBN will be removed on or about May 10, 2022 (one week from tomorrow).
