[tiggeusers] TIGGE data from Met Office, UK

NOTE: The tiggeusers mailing list is no longer active. The list archives are made available for historical reasons.

Dear TIGGE users,

I am writing to let you know that the Met Office data supplied to TIGGE are now
taken from the higher resolution, 7-day MOGREPS-G ensemble (rather than the
15-day MOGREPS-15 ensemble, as used up to 15th July). The new data are
available from 00Z 6th November, and it is planned to back-fill the gap (July
to November) in due course. The new ensemble data includes 12 members run four
times a day, with a reduced number of parameters.

Further details are available from
https://software.ecmwf.int/wiki/display/TIGGE/News - note that that this page
is on the new website, which will replace the old site soon; the old website,
tigge.ecmwf.int is no longer being regularly updated.
