Hi Kathy Lee, Both the grey scale color map (default when you just addMap a ScalarMap to Display.RGB) and the color spectrum color map (when you pass the ScalarMap to LabeledRGBWidget) have 256 entries. So the difference in resolution is (hopefully) just color perception. > And how do you use the widget to control color? Clicking the right or center mouse button switches the left button between red, green and blue (and alpha, for a LabeledRGBAWidget).
