I download the jar and installed the latest JDK1.2.1 and J3D 1.1.1. When compiling the visad, everything goes fine until: javac -J-mx32m rabin\*.java rabin\Rain.java:152: Incompatible type for =. Can't convert float[] to byte[]. cross.colors = new float[] ^ 1 error (cd examples && javac -J-mx32m *.java) ************** Is this a problem with the source or have I done something wrong?
