I've written a set of tutorials on how to convert VisAD
standalone applications to collaborative applications.

Before you're frightened off, note that the simple
application in the walkthrough is converted in just
4 steps, and those steps will be roughly the same for
even the most complicated applications.

There are 3 main pages:

overview of the steps involved in making an application
collaborative.

is a step-by-step conversion of a simple standalone
application.

brief discussion of making a graphic VisAD widget
collaborative.
