Component-Based Visualization and Interactive Environments at SIGGRAPH 2000

Sunday Afternoon, 23 July, 5:30 PM, Convention Center Room 285

ApE, AVS, IBM Data Explorer, and IRIS Explorer pioneered data flow and
visual programming for technical visualization; is the next wave going
to be object-oriented visual programming based on reusable components
such as Java Beans? What will be the effect of Open DX, VisAD, Python,
XML, and the Info-Bus on the visualization community and the industry's
future direction? Bring your ideas, opinions, and suggestions to our
gathering, Component-based Scientific Visualization and Interactive
Environments, Sunday 23 July 2000 at 5:30 PM, Convention Center room 285.

You are also welcome at our "Molecular Graphics" gathering, Tuesday
1:30 PM, at the same Birds-of-a-Feather location, room 285.
