Re: 2D Grid generation using VisAd.

I would suggest taking a look at Section 3 of Ugo's Tutorial:

It starts out with an example of making and displaying a 2D field with a
regular domain topology with a single floating point value for each sample,
which is what I _think_ you're dealing with.  He also has lots of excellent
information and examples for changing display attributes.
