Thanks Don, Bill, Doug and everybody: It's realy that. Using the DisplayImplJ3D the performance became very acceptable. Another thing: I'm working on a .MIF (MapInfo Data Interchange Format) reader , and if there is any interest I would be glad to send my classes.
