Setting the size of a display

hi all,
I created a "DisplayImpl display = new DisplayImplJ3D("satdisplay");" and then i attached it to a panel in my application, "jpanel.add(satdisplay.getComponent());" now my problem is that the jpanel has a size of 800,600 and the display is only a small part of it but i want it to occupy the whole panel. Anyone knows how i do this or how do i set a set a specified size for the display?
