It looks like the screenBased AxisScale was only implemented for Java3D. I didn't do that work (I did the rest of AxisScale), and the person who did is away for a week. I'll poke around, but in the mean time, if you can use a DisplayImplJ3D with a TwoDDisplayRendererJ3D() (see Test42) then it will work. Sorry for the confusion. Also, disregard my previous comments on automatically changing from screenBased to axisBased. That doesn't work even with the fix I was proposing. Again, I'll poke around some more.
