Sil:The issue will be whether or not you have "navigation" for those images. In order to project this, you'll need to have the transformation between pixels and lat/lon. Most of the 'navigated' forms that VisAD can read have this information contained in the file. If this is not the case, then you'll need to write a little code to create a CoordinateSystem and attach it to the domain of your VisAD Data.
