GeoTIFF.  So far, that work is only in it's infancy.  The problem
with exporting a GeoTIFF would be how to handle the 3D nature
of the display?  What do you put out for GeoTIFF tags if the
display is tilted from the vertical.  If you only want to
deal with 2D displays, then it's easier, but not simple.
There are no tags to support satellite projections.
